Digital Print



DigitalDM is a 'digital publishing' company which in effect works as a "paperless printer".

Most internet e-brochure solutions today are essentially just animated page 'websites' hosted by the supplier. The publisher's artwork is animated with Flash, with the result that these e-Brochures can only be viewed inside an online web browser. The pages are not optimized for delivery, so appear slowly and viewing/print quality is often compromised in order to reduce streaming times to the reader. And lack rich media functions, such as video and animations.

Other eBook solutions use large and clunky .exe file viewers which are trapped by firewall and anti-virus software. Equally, simple PDF copies of print brochures are unable to create a usable reader experience and are heavy to download if saved in a reasonable print quality.

In contrast, DigitalDM has worked directly with Publishers to fulfill their demands for a truly independent ‘Digital Edition' - an exact digital replica of their printed publications - which is viewable in print quality, light in size and easy to distribute electronically.

By using our proprietary solutions, our clients can distribute their easy-to-read 'Digital Editions' by simply using the internet as transport to the user (via email, URL link or download from the client's website) for viewing in both online and offline modes.

While our 'Digital Editions; are created directly from the Publisher's pre-press pages - in order retain the same viewing and print quality of the paper productions - we can overlay rich media functions within the Digital Editions to provide greater interactive functionality for our clients.
